MASS is built for studios making their own games. It’s what we do at Massive Monster, so it’s what we know. But a room of one kind of maker is a quiet room. Artists, composers, writers, producers, the people who port and publish and build the tools. If you help someone else finish their game, MASS is also for you.
Tell us what you’re making and where it’s at. The developers already here take a look, and when a desk is free, it’s yours.
After that, the commitment is small. Month to month. A month’s notice to leave. Come back when a desk is free.
Founding residents

Six studios are already in. The founding intake is the sixteen desks around them, for the studios and makers who set the tone with us.
Applications close 31 December 2026. We read them in the order they arrive, and we reply to everyone.
Your rate, held
Founding rate for six months, then your full rate held until the end of 2028. No increases while everyone else’s move.
Founding rate
$50 a month off a hot desk and $100 off a dedicated desk for your first six months. First sixteen desks only.

Choose your desk, your room and your neighbours before the doors open to anyone else.

Discounts on space hire, parking and the rooms you can’t get anywhere else, for as long as you’re here.

Named as a founding resident at MASS and on the website, for as long as MASS stands.

Six months, a desk and mentors, to get a game pitchable or shipped. Details soon.
- Prices in AUD, excluding GST. Billed monthly through Archie.
- One month minimum, then a month’s notice.
- Access rates: $100 a month off for emerging or low-income developers, $200 off for First Nations developers. A set number of desks a year. Ask on the form.
